Departments of H.P.:

(I) H.P (STATE SEED AND ORGANIC PRODUCE CERTIFICATION AGENCY :

Agriculture Development Officer (Seed) ,Class-I, Gazetted on Contract Basis. Posts: 05 (General=04 , Visually Impaired.=01).
Pay Scale :-Fixed remuneration i.e B.P.+D.P.(Rs.10830/-PM).
Age:-Between 18-45 years .

Essential Qualifications.:- B.Sc. Agriculture under 04 years programme and M.Sc. Agriculture 2nd class from a College /Institutions/ University recognised by the State /Central Government/ICAR. Desirable Qualification.: (i) M.Sc.(Agr.) 1st Class or above.
(ii) Preference to M.B.A. candidates will be given.

(II): DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION & PUBLIC RELATIONS, H.P.:

District Public Relations Officer/Information Officer, Class-I(Gazetted) . Posts : 01 post reserved for Visually Impaired (Backlog).
Pay Scale :- Rs. 7220-11660/-
Age:-Between 45 years and below .
Essential Qualifications.:- i) At least Graduate of recognized University or its equivalent . ii) Diploma or Degree in Journalism/Public Relations from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government.

(III) DEPARTMENT OF YOUTH SERVICES & SPORTS ,H.P. :

District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Class-I, Gazetted. Posts : 01 post reserved for Visually Impaired .
Pay Scale :-Rs.7220-11660/-
Age:-Between 45 years and below .
Essential Qualifications.:(1) Bachelor’s Degree or its equialent from a recognised University.
(2) One year Diploma in the concerned game from an institution run by the Sports Authority of India. OR
Diploma in Physical Education/Graduate in Physical Education with at least 06 months coaching certificate/diploma from a recognised University/Institution

(IV)DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIES, H.P. :
Mining Officer, Class-II, Gazetted, Posts : 01 post reserved for Visually Impaired/
Hearing Impaired / Orthopaedically Handicapped .
Pay Scale :-Rs.6400-10640/-
Age:- 45 years and below .
Essential Qualifications:- M.Sc. Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or B.Sc.(Hons.) in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognised University/Institution or its equivalent.
OR B.E.(Mining Engineering) from a recognised University or its equivalent.
OR Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines , Dhanbad with atleast 03 years experience in Mining .

(V)1: DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION,H.P. :
Professor Community Dentistry , Gazetted, Class-I , Posts : 01 General(Backlog)
Pay Scale:- Rs.18600-22100/-

(VI) Department of Technical Education, H.P. :
Professor Orthodontics ,Gazetted, Class-I, Posts : 01 General(Backlog)

Essential Qualifications:-A recognised BDS Degree from the Indian University constituted under the Statue or an equivalent qualification

(VII)Department of MPP & Power, H.P. :
Lecturer Mechanical Engineering Class-I, Gazetted., posts:- 02 General on contract basis (backlog)
Pay Scale :- Rs 8000+DP Age: 45 years and below .
Essential Qualifications:- For the Candidates from Teaching as well as Industry & Profession :-First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate Branch of Engineering (Engg.)/Technology(Tech.) (No minimum experience is required). OR First Class Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate Branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent, valid GATE, score minimum 75 percentile

(VIII)-1:- H.P.Power Corporation Limited(Deptt.of MPP&Power). :
Assistant Accounts Officer, Class-I, Gazetted., posts:- 03 (General-X-S-M=01, S.T.=01 & Disabled Persons (Low Vision)=01 on Contract basis (Backlog)
Pay Scale :- Rs.7750+DP@ 50% on contract basis initially for one year, which may be extendable on year to year basis.
Age:- Between 18 to 45 years .
Essential Qualifications:-Post Graduate Degree in Commerce/MBA(Fin.)/MFC with minimum 55% marks or having degree of Charted Accountant /ICWA from recognised University/Institute


Assistant Engineer(Civil) Class-I, E 0 level., posts:- 25(General=05, S.C.=04, S.T. =03,OBC=05, General X-S-M = 07, Orthopaedically Handicapped =01.
Pay Scale :-Rs. 7750-14500/-(with initial start of Rs. 8550/-)
Age:- Between 18 to 45 years .
Essential Qualifications:-Tech./B.E.(Civil) with atleast 60% marks.

Assistant Engineer(Civil) Class-I, E 0 level., posts:- 25(General=05, S.C.=04, S.T.=03,OBC=05, General X-S-M = 07, Orthopaedically Handicapped =01.
Pay Scale :-Rs. 7750-14500/-(with initial start of Rs. 8550/-)
Age:- Between 18 to 45 years .
Essential Qualifications:-Tech./B.E.(Civil) with atleast 60% marks.

Assistant Engineer(Environment)Class-I,E .0. level., posts:- 03(General=01, S.C.=01, Orthopaedically Handicapped=01.
Pay Scale :-Rs. 7750-14500/-/-(with initial start of Rs. 8550/-)
Age:- Between 18 to 45 .
Essential Qualifications:- B.Tech./B.E.(Environment Engineering / Environment Science/BE with 1 year PG Diploma in Environment).

Assistant Finance Officer Class-I, E 0 level. No. of posts:- 06(General=02, S.C.=01, S.T.=01,General X-S-M=01,Orthopaedically Handicapped=01.
Pay Scale :-Rs. 7750-14500/-/-(with initial start of Rs. 8550/-)
Age:- Between 18 to 45 years .
Essential Qualifications:-CA/MBA(Finance)/MFSC/ICWA.

(IX) Department of Home(Prosecution),H.P. :
Assistant Officer (R&R)Class-I, E 0 level., posts:- 03(General=02, Ortho paedically Handicapped=01)
Pay Scale :-Rs. 7750-14500/-/-(with initial start of Rs. 8550/-)
Age:- Between 18 to 45 years .
Essential Qualifications:-BE in Rural Engineering or equivalent.


Assistant Distt. Attorney, Class-I, (Gazetted) , posts:-15 (General=07, General X.S.M =03, S.C. X.S.M =01, S.T.=02 & OBC=02.
Pay Scale:-Rs.7000-10980/- Age:-35 years and below .
Essential Qualifications:-(i) Professional Degree in Law from a recognised University or its equivalent and ; (ii) Atleast two years experience as an Advocate. The candidate is required to produce experience certificate duly signed by the President, District Bar Association concerned / Bar Council.

Fee:- Fee in shape of Bank draft in favour of Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission for Rs. 250/-(Rupees two hundred fifty)only, Rs.63/-(Rupees sixty three for SC/ST/OBC of H.P.only), payable at Shimla, must accompany the applications and send to the Secretary ,HPPSC, Nigam Vihar , Shimla-171002 (HP). Ex-servicemen unless discharged at their own request before completion of normal tenure and visually impaired candidates of H.P. are exempted from payment of application fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
