Indian Rare Earths Limited (IREL) a Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy is the industry leader in the area of Beach Sand Minerals like ilmentie and rutile (titanium ores), zircon, monazite, sillimanite, etc., and producer of rare earth (Lanthanides) chemicals, thorium nitrate etc. The Company requires proactive professionals for the following positions in its Corporate Office at Mumbai & its Units located in Kerala, Tamil Nadu & Orissa.
Graduate Engineer Trainees – (Mining/ Minerals/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Civil/ Instrumentation): 26 (Twenty six) Posts (Corporate Office/ Units)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. degree from a AICTE recognized Institute/ University in (Mining/ Minerals/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Civil/ Instrumentation).
Management Trainees : (Marketing /Finance/ HRM) – 15 (Fifteen) posts (five in each discipline), (Corporate Office/Units):
Qualifications: Marketing : Post Graduate Degree or 2 year Diploma in Management/ Business Management with specialization in marketing from a premier Institute/University or Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
HRM : Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in PM&IR/ MSW/ MBA (Full time course) with specialization in HR from a premier Institute/University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
The selected candidates for posts 5&6 will be appointed as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) /Management Trainees (MTs) for a period of one year. During the training period they will draw a monthly stipend of Rs.8600/- plus other allowances. The gross minimum monthly emoluments of GETs/MTs posted at Mumbai will be Rs.17,860/- (approx.) and at Units will be Rs.15,974/- (approx.). On successful completion of the training period GETs/MTs will be absorbed in the grade of Officer in the scale of pay of Rs.8600-250-14600 and will be eligible for DA, HRA and other allowances as applicable to officers.
General Conditions:
1. Should be a citizen of India.
2. Reservation/Concession to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman/Persons with Disabilities/ Dependants of those killed in military action, will be given as per the directives of the Government of India.
3. Candidates from Government Depts / PSUs must forward their applications through proper channel otherwise they will be treated to have agreed to forgo the benefits of carry forward of gratuity, leave salary and any future benefit for past service etc.
4. Persons who have retired from Government Companies including IREL under the VRS will not be eligible to apply.
5. In order to regulate the number of candidates to be called for the test and/or interview, if so required, the Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria, OR to relax the minimum eligibility standards/criteria including age limit in otherwise suitable candidates.
6. Merely meeting the above qualifications and experience shall not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Only short-listed candidates will be notified for Test/Interviews.
7. Depending on the requirements, the Company reserves the right to cancel/curtail/increase the number of posts without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof
8. All the above conditions of qualification, experience, age limit etc. are applicable to applicants from IREL also.
9. How to apply:

10. Applications received late/incomplete will be rejected. IREL will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss of documents during
transit. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
11. Any legal proceedings in respect of any dispute with regard to the recruitment against this advertisement can be instituted only in Mumbai and Courts/Forums/Tribunals at Mumbai only shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such Case/Dispute.
