The post will be filled on deputation (including short term contract).

Field of Selection - Deputation (including short term contract)
Officers under the Central/State Governments/Union Territories/Recognized Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi Governments/Statutory and Autonomous Organisations:
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with 2 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 16400-20000/-or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or
(iii) with 3 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 14300-18300/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and

SELECTION:

Test/ Interview:

Candidates fulfilling all of the above criteria will be eligible for appearing for the Test (objective type) comprising of two parts - General Aptitude and Academic/Subject Knowledge. The candidates will be called for the Personal Interview as per the policy of the Corporation.

All the candidates are requested to remain updated on details of Tests, Interview, venue etc by visiting HPCL website. Facility of downloading Admit cards & Specimen questions will also be provided on HPCL website.

Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the Test and Personal Interview. Subsequently, candidates will be required to undergo medical examination. Reference for a medical examination does not mean final selection, which may please be noted. The final selection / Offer of Employment will be based on the candidate’s score in Test, personal interview, being declared as Medically Fit by HPCL Designated Physician and subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria wrt Academic Qualification, Age, Caste, NOC, Relieving letter etc. as may be applicable.

EMOLUMENTS AND PLACEMENTS :

These positions are in Management Cadre in “A” grade in the Salary Scale of Rs.12000 – 17500 (under revision) plus VDA, HRA, CCA, etc. and other perquisites as applicable to particular grade. The CTC would be appx. Rs.7.00 lakhs per annum. Posting can be in any Division/Department of the Corporation at any place in the country/otherwise and the services thereafter will be transferable as required by the Corporation. These positions would involve working in shift duties.

RELAXATION / CONCESSIONS:

* Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Persons with disabilities (degree of disability 40% or above) as per Government Directives.

* Age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD candidates – as applicable.

* Age relaxation by 5 years for candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989.

Steps For Applying:

STEP 3: GEN and OBC candidates are required to send a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.500/- as Application Fee drawn on “HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED” payable at Mumbai. Candidates must write their name, Position, discipline and application no. on the reverse of Demand Draft. MO/IPO or any other mode of payment will not be accepted. HPCL will not be responsible for any loss of email/admit card sent, due to invalid/wrong email id/wrong postal address/postal delays/loss in transit etc.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

* Indian Nationals only need to apply.

* All the qualifications should be full time regular course/s from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.

* Candidates are requested to apply for one position (Legal or Information systems officer) only.

* For the purpose of scrutiny, the corporation may call for the relevant documents wrt Date of birth, Academic qualification, category etc. at any stage of selection process.
