Applications are invited from male Indian citizens belonging to General, Other Backward
Classes, Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes for the following post :

HEAD CONSTABLE (RADIO OPERATOR), Posts : 244
pay scale of Rs. 5200- 20,200 (PB-I) plus Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
Academic qualifications -
Matriculation or equivalent plus two years ITI certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics or Intermediate or 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution.

HEAD CONSTABLE (FITTER), Posts : 06
pay scale of Rs. 5200- 20,200 (PB-I) plus Grade pay of Rs.2400/- per month
Academic qualifications -
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board or Institution ; and two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic from an Institution recognized by State or Central Government; or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board or Institution

ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (RADIO MECHANIC), Posts : 42
pay scale of Rs. 5200- 20,200 (PB-I) plus Grade pay of Rs. 2800/- per month
Academic qualifications -
Matric with Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from any Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government
or
10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of fifty percent with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board or Institution

(i) AGE LIMITS :- Not below 18 years or over 23 years as on 10/11/2009 for Head Const (Radio operator/fitter)
(ii) AGE LIMITS :- Not below 18 years or over 25 years as on 10/11/2009 for Assistant Sub Inspector (Radio Mechanic

PHYSICAL STANDARDS :
Height : 170 cms
Chest : 80 cms (85 cms after expansion)
Weight : Corresponding to Height.

Medical Standards:-
(i) Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of the both eyes without correction i.e.
without wearing glasses
(ii) Must pass high-grade colour vision test.
(iii) Must not have knock-knees, flat feet or squint in eyes.
(iv) Must not be having any defect/deformity likely to interfere with the
efficient performance of the duties.

Fee :
Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- (Fifty) only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office.
