Job Details:- University of Jammu, inviting application for the post of Junior Research Fellow & Field Assistant

Project titled: “Monitoring Snow and Glaciers of Himalayan Region- Phase II”.

Qualification:- M.Sc. (Geology)/ M.A. (Geography) with minimum 55% marks. Candidate with NET/SET shall be preferred. Experience of working on glaciers/high altitude terrain shall be preferred.
Desirable qualification:- Knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS.
Salary:- Rs. 16,000 + 20% HRA/pm

Post:- Field Assistant

Qualification:- Higher Secondary (10+2) passed. Preference shall be given to those having experience of working on glaciers/high altitude terrain.
Salary:- Rs. 8000/-pm (consolidated)
