Department: Mechanical Engineering
Specialization: Industrial engineering, Operations research, Non-traditional machining, Advanced manufacturing, IC engines, Refrigeration and air conditioning, Composite structures, Computational mechanics, CAD, CAM, MEMS.

Department: Electrical Engineering
Specialization: Electrical Machines and Drives, Instrumentation, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Candidates with good academic background and having specializations in other areas of Electrical Engineering may also apply.

Qualifications: Ph.D. with 60% (there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent in post graduation/graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in Industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D degree, could also be considered in exceptional case.
