Canon has design Centers located at Bangalore and Noida. Canon requires the following Software Engineers:

NOIDA:

* Job Code: SW 01:
Senior Engineer / Project Leader / Module leader (C++)
Experience: 2 to 10 Years
o Programming Skills in C, C++
o Knowledge of Object Oriented design and developmeny
o XML Technologies (XPath, XSLT) or JavaScript / Action Script
o Must have done analysis, design, Coding and white box / unit level testing in previous assignments
o Reviews of SRS, Design, System Test CAse Documents
o HAs experience of handling QMS requirements
o IT is desirable to have working knowledge of any of these technologies - Compilers / Interpreter technology, Security / Cryptography technology, Knowledge of Scripting
* Job Code: SW 02
Senior Engineer / Project Leader / Module leader (Java)
Experience: 2 to 10 years
o Programming language skills include: J2EE, JAVA, XML, UML, and PL/SQL, Strong OOPS concepts
o Client server technologies: RMI, EJB, SOAP
o Application frameworks: Struts, Spring, Hibernate
o RAD Tools: Eclipse 3.2, StartUML, RAtional XDE for Java, PL-SQL Developer
o RDBMS: Oracle 8i/10g, SQL Server 6.5, MySQL 5.0
o Application Server & other: Apache Tomcat 5.0, JBoss 4, WAS 5.1, Broadvision application server, iPlanet 4.0, WebLogic 8.1, Oracle 10g iAS
o Version Control System: VSS, SVN
o Others: ANT Junit, Web Services, Good Knowledge of Design Patterns, Payment Gateways

BANGALORE:

* Job Code: HW 01
Hardware Design (Engineer / Senior Engineer / Module Leader)
Experience: 3 to 8 years
o Strong RTL Design BAckground
o Hands on experience in (Verilog/VHDL) coding
o System Architecture knowledge
o SoC knowledge preferred
o Hands on experience with EDA tools (ASIC and FPGA)
o Strong knowledge in Synthesis
o Strong knowledge in Static Timing Analysis and debug
o Experience / Strong knowledge of protocols like USB, Ethernet, OCP, AMBA protocol
* Job Code: HW 02
Hardware Verification (Engineer / Snior Engineer / Module Leader)
Experience: 3 to 8 years
o Experience of 3 to 6 years in RTL design for IP and SoC
o Hands on experience in (Specman and/or System verilog) coding
o Good exposure to System Architecture definition
o SoC knowledge preferred
o Hands on experience with eRM/OVM methodology
o Strong knowledge in gate level verification and debug
o Experience / Strong knowledge of protocols like USB, Ethernet, OCP, AMBA protocols
o Knowledge of SystemC will be preferred
* Job Code: HW 03
Firmware (Engineer / Senior Engineer / Module Leader)
o Experience of 3-8 years in Developing Embedded Firmware
o Knowledge of Protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, RTSP, HTTP
o Knowledge of Gigabit Ethernet, USB
o Hands on experience in embedded Linux platforms
o Strong command & understanding of C, C++, assembly languages
o Experience with Linux kernel source code modification
o Good exposure to scripting languages
o Experience of developing embedded firmware & device drivers
o Knowledge of SoC development environment
o Good Exposure to system architecture definition
