ISM invites application for following positions :

Professors , Posts : 03 one each in the areas of [1] Petroleum Engineering (AMN Ghosh Chair ) [2] Opencast Mining (NMDC Chair) and [3] Mine Environment (Rajiv Gandhi Chair)
Pay Scale :Rs.18,400-500-22,400/-
Qualification ;
Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch of engineering with a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor.
Or
An outstanding Engineer/Technologist working in industry with established reputation and who has made significant contribution to knowledge but not having Ph.D degree would also be considered.

Age : Not exceeding 66 years

Prescribed application forms may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Estt.) ISM University, Dhanbad -826 004 by sending a crossed demand draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Registrar, ISMU, along with a self addressed stamped (Rs.50/-) envelope of 30cmx12cm size. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying any application fee. Candidates called for personal discussion with Selection Committee, if required, will be reimbursed to & fro railway fare limited to 2nd AC by the shortest route as per rules.
