National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), Kalyani, West Bengal (India), Applications are invited for recruitment of following Post :

1. DIRECTOR
Pay Scale: The post carries pay scale of Rs. 80000/- (Fixed) plus usual allowances and other benefits as per Government of India Rules.

Eligibility Requirements:

* Ph.D., M. D. or Equivalent Degree in the relevant area.
* Outstanding scientific and academic credentials in the area of Biomedical Genomics as evidenced through proven ability to carry out independent research and provide leadership for research in interdisciplinary areas of Biomedical Genomics.
* At least 20 years of experience in Biomedical Genomics with proven track record of leadership and institution building.

Tenure: The appointment will be initially on contract for a period of 5 years, which may be extended further with the approval of the Competent Authority.
