Global Reporting Services, as part of Global Business Services for Hewlett Packard(HP) is the centralized planning and reporting team providing planning, analysis and reporting, as well as transformation services and solutions (for reporting) to HP internal account customers globally. Our internal customers are the Business Units, Business Unit Finance function, Corporate Finance (Controllership, Tax, Treasury & Internal Audit) and the Regions. Job Description As an integral part of the Global Reporting Services team, the selected candidate will be responsible for updating comprehensive financial costing, margin modeling including financial analysis and reporting of Hp's EDS business units, countries and regions, global functions and programmes and projects for Hp EDS worldwide, within the overall framework of business, corporate and statutory guidelines. He/She will be involved in areas like standard costing, margin modeling, management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, costing and pricing solutions and balance sheet reviews. As a key business-partner he/she would be actively involved in management of business analysis encompassing bridges to the business plans, prepare and present reviews and make recommendations to aid decision making. His/Her role would also encompass reviewing risk assessment and tightening of internal controls, driving process improvements and ensuring cost optimizations wherever feasible. Responsibilities: � Work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Delivery Capability (Operations), Engineering, and Portfolio Mgt in order to develop Metric Based and Man-time Based internal cost rates which are used for costing new business, internal cost transfers, and setting annual business planning financial objectives.

Develop the appropriate level costing models for new services offerings as they pass through the various gates within the Concept to Cash life cycle.

Engineer rates using a Standard Rate Builder Tool, bills of material / bills of labor and key delivery metrics with the objective of creating rates which reflect the point of optimal utilization & productivity.

Act in partnership with the Service Delivery/Operations, Sales/Marketing and Engineering teams to optimize the rate structure in a manner that maximizes margin outcomes.

Generate standard financial reports: o Summary P&L o Detail P&L o Cash Flow o Pricing & Transfer cost reporting

your profile Qualification & Skills requirement Must Have - Educational Qualification: ICWA, CIMA, MBA, CA acceptable). US GAAP exposure Preferred Financial Costing / Modeling with an ability to identify key cost drivers and structure meaningful metrics that align proper incentives between desired operating and financial outcomes Margin Analysis with the demonstrated capacity to use pricing, cost, and utilization data to create dynamic financial models required for the price Certifications, financial business plans, and service line cost rates. 2-3 Years experience working in a global service or manufacturing industry performing service or product costing or pricing Exposure to large ERP applications. Strong competency in Microsoft Office packages - Access , Excel & PowerPoint Excellent Analytical skills and problem solving ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills
