Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation and situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has an unique combination of facilities of Solid Propellant Production plant, a rocket motor Static Test Facility, Launch complexes for variety of rockets, Telemetry, Telecommand, Tracking, Data Acquisition and processing facilities and other support services.

SDSC SHAR offers the position of Scientific/Technical Assistants, Nurses and teaching staff in the following specialised fields :

07 Scientific Assistant 02 Unreserved B.Sc., in First Class with Chemistry Botany and Zoology from a recognized University/Institution (Candidates possessing Diploma in Public Health shall be desirable).
08 Trained Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit) 01 OBC Essential:
1.Four years integrated degree course of Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the Sanskrit subject with atleast 50% marks in aggregate
(OR) Second Class Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50% marks in aggregate
(OR) Second Class Bachelor's Degree with tleast 50% marks in aggregate including elective and languages.
2.B.Ed orequivalent from a recognized University.
3.Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer operation.
09 Technical Assistant (Computer
Engg.) 01 Unreserved First Class Diploma in Computer Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
10 Technical Assistant (Electronics & Communication Engg.) 01 OBC First Class Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
11 Nurse B 04 Unreserved-01; OBC-01;SC-01; ST-01 SSLC/SSC + First Class Diploma of 3 years duration in Nursing recognized by State/Central Government(The Nursing qualification should be registered with the respective State Nursing Councils)

The number of vacancies indicated above are provisional and may be increased/decreased depending on the actual requirement of the Organisation.

Age Limit : 35 Years as on 03-08-2009 (Relaxation in upper age limit by 05 years for SC,ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates).

Pay & Allowances:-

Selection Process
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for interview/written test. Based on bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking up written test/interview. The venue and date of written test/interview will be intimated
