Recruitment for Graduate Engineer Trainee

Qualification : M.Tech/ M.E. in Plastics, Polymer, Chemical, Mech.CAD/CAM, Tool Design or Production Engineering with First class or equivalent with minimum 65% of marks or CGPA/CPI grading 6.5 on 10point scale OR First Class with minimum 65% marks PGD-PE / CAD-PE (CIPET) and having one year experience

The maximum age limit is 26 years.

How To Apply
1. On successful completion of 1 year Training period, they will be absorbed against regular vacancies of Technical Officer in the institute based on their performance & merit basis and will be placed in the Scale of Rs.8000-275-13500. The posts carry in addition to pay D.P., D.A., C.C.A, H.R.A. and benefits like Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Reimbursement, House Building Advance, Vehicle Advance as admissible to Central Government employees. “The pay scale is under upward revision as per the outcome of VI Central Pay Commission” & subject to approval.
2. No application fee.
3. The eligibility with respect to age, experience etc. will be determined as on August 12, 2008.
4. The selected candidates after successful completion of training period, shall have to execute a Bond to serve the institute for a period of two years.
5. Application Form may be downloaded from our website www.cipet.gov.in and filled in application should be submitted to Director General, CIPET Corporate Office, Guindy, Chennai – 600 032 on or before August 12, 2008.
