Qualification : MBA (Marketing/ IT Management) degree/ Post Graduate Programme (2 years full time) in Marketing Management or IT Management or equivalent from a recognised Unviersity/ Institution is essential qualification. Candidates possessing the degree in engineering/ science of a recrognised Unviersity/ Institution in addition to the essential qualification, shall be given preference.
Age Limit as on 19.05.2008 : General 28 years, OBC -31 years, SC/ ST - 33years
Pay Scale : 8600-250-14600
Probation : 2 years
How To Apply
The candidate must attach attested photocopies in support of proof of age, educational qualifications, category and experience mentioned in his application. Application without attested copies of the required documents or without photograph or signature of the candidate or examination fee shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard shall be made nor entertained. Originals need not be sent at this stage. The originals are required to be produced at the time of interview. Applications complete in all respects along with a passport size photograph of candidate, to be pasted at the space provided in the application form, together with a crossed Bank draft/pay order of Rs. 400/- drawn in favour of 'RailTel Corporation of India Limited' payable at ICICI Bank, New Delhi or State Bank of India, New Delhi, should reach at the address given below by the last date of receipt of applications. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee.
The application neatly typed on A4 size paper in the prescribed format should be sent to Post Box no. 9, General Post Office, New Delhi-110001. While sending the application, candidate must write on the top of the envelope "Application for the post of Assistant Manager (Marketing) I" and should arrange to send the application in such a manner that the application reaches at the above address on or before 19-05-2008. The last date of receipt of application will not be extended under any circumstances.
