Vacancies: Tentative vacancy is for about 50 Management Trainees. Out of total vacancies for reserved category the seats are SC-8, ST-4, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)-13, &PH-2.
Qualification:
Management Trainees (Technical): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ and M.Tech in Applied Geology from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of all year/semesters (55% for SC/ST candidates).
Management Trainees (Corporate Services): Candidates should have Two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management / Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from a recognised Indian University / Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of all years/ semesters (55% in aggregate for SC / ST candidates) apart from full time Bachelor's Degree from a recognised Indian University.
Age: Upper age limit as on 31.03.2008 for General Category candidates is as follows:
Management Trainee (Technical): 26 years for Engineering Graduates.
M.Tech in Applied Geology: 28 years.
Management Trainee (Corporate Services): 28 years
Candidates who appeared and passed engineering graduation/ Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management and Industrial Relations exam in 2007 or appearing in 2008 for their final examination are ONLY eligible to apply. However, for those appearing in 2008, their candidature will be valid subject to their passing and submitting the result by 30th September, 2008 and obtaining the prescribed aggregate marks. No extension of date will be allowed under any circumstances.
Mode of Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of Written Test followed by Personal Interview for successful candidates in the Written Test.
Remuneration: The selected candidates will be appointed as Management Trainees in the grade of E1 with scale of pay of Rs. 10750-300-16750/- and other allowances and benefits applicable to this grade. The compensation package on Cost to Company (CTC) basis would be around 4 lakh per annum. Pay Scale revision is due from 01.01.07.
