Requires Clerical Staff

Qualification (as on 01.01.2008) :
a) Degree with minimum of 45% marks in any discipline or its equivalent. or
b) Higher Secondary Examination/ 10+2 examination of 10+2+3 pattern with 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent.
Note: a) All educational qualifications should be from a Recognised University Board/ Central/ State/ Union Territory administration.
b) Knowledge of the Official Language of the State/ Union Territory where vacancies are advertised and for which the candidate has applied, to read, write and speak the Official Language is essential.
c) Computer Literacy : Apart from the relevant qualification for the above posts, Computer literacy shall be an essential qualification, which the candidate must either possess before or acquire within six months of joining the Bank.

Pay Scale : Rs. 4410p.m - Rs. 13210p.m

Requisite Application Fee should be payable by Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn on any scheduled bank favouring "Indian Overseas Bank-Clerical Recruitment Project" payable at Mumbai only.

Note : (1) Please note that cash, cheques, money orders, postal stamps etc. will not be accepted.
(2) Candidates belonging to ST/ PH categories must submit attested photo copy of certificate regarding Caste/ Handicap issued by the Competent Authority without which their application will be rejected.
(3) There is no relaxation in qualification, and age of dependents of servicemen killed in action. Certificate of sponsorship from Ex-Servicemen's Cell (DGM & T), Ministry of Labour & Rehabilitation should also be enclosed along with the application.
(4) Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
