TRAINEE (Operator/Technician): Fresh Diploma Engineers in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics.
Eligibility criteria and other details applicable for position Code 06:

QUALIFICATION - Full Time Regular 3 years Diploma in Engineering (in specified disciplines indicated under position code – 06) with minimum 50% marks (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates), from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

UPPER AGE LIMIT- 25 years as on 31.03.2008.

Stipend: Trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.11,000/- per month

Period of Training and absorption: The period of training shall be one year. Upon successful completion of training, they would be absorbed in regular service of the Corporation as “Operator “D”/Technician IV” in Salary Grade IV, in the scale of Pay of Rs 5400-10,850/- (under revision).

Service Bond : “Trainees” will be required to execute a Bond for Rs. 50,000(relaxed to Rs.10,000/ - for SC/ST/OBC candidates) to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years from the date of absorption.
General Instructions:
1. Selected candidates may also be posted in Refinery Set up at Panipat, if required.
2. Wherever CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded in the Diploma / Degree (B.Sc) examination, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per the norms adopted by University / Institute.
3. Candidates belonging to OBC category but falling in creamy layer and thus not entitled to OBC reservation should indicate their category as “GENERAL” provided they meet the age criteria specified for ‘General’ Category candidates.
4. Candidates presently employed in Govt. Deptt. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies shall submit their printed applications through proper channel and submit the NOC at the time of interview.
5. Attested copies of certificates pertaining to age, qualification, experience and Caste (wherever applicable), must be attached along with the application.
6. General & OBC candidates are required to send a NON-REFUNDABLE crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- as Application Fee drawn on any Bank having a branch at Panipat in favour of Indian Oil Corporation Limited payable at Panipat. Candidates must write name and address on the reverse of Demand Draft. MO / IPO or any other mode of payment will not be accepted. SC/ST/EXSM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
7. Applications of General and OBC candidates without Demand Draft will be rejected.
8. Write “Application for the post of “Operators and Technicians-PNCP” OR “TRAINEE-PNCP”, alongwith the Position Code on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
9. A candidate can apply for one discipline only. Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered.
10. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will be rejected.
11. The application in the prescribed proforma along with Original Demand Draft should be sent to the “THE ADVERTISER, POST BOX NO. 128, PANIPAT-132103, HARYANA” only by ordinary post so as to reach the Post Box latest by 29th February 2008.
