Requires Engineer Trainee (Design / CAE)
Job Details
• CAD: Parametric / Solid modeling Parts & Assembly, Surface modeling, Piping, Cabling & Quality checks.
• Extraction of views, Preparation of detailed manufacturing drawings incorporating ISO Drafting Standards, BOM etc.
• Mold Design, Tool design, Reverse engineering, Interface to manufacturing
• Modeling & Drafting using UG-NX / Pro-E Wildfire 3.0 / CATIA V5 / Solid Works / Autodesk INVENTOR / AutoCAD is a must.
• FE Analysis using ANSYS / Nastran / Abaqus / HYPERWORKS or any other CAE packages is desirable.
• Shall have knowledge of reading drawings and GD&T
• Awareness of manufacturing components/assemblies, materials, International Standards, ISO drafting practice codes desirable.
• Academics : Good academic background with 70 % aggregate marks in the graduation
Preferred Age:23 to 24 years
Experience: Upto 1 Year of Design experience in Mechanical Engineering industry is desirable (preference will be given to the experience in any Auto industry / MNC’s etc)

GENERAL
• SC / ST / OBC / - Reservation and relaxation in age, percentage of marks, application fee (applicable for SC/ST/PH) will be as per Government guidelines.
• Candidates employed in Government / Quasi-Government / PSU should send the copy of their application through proper channel OR Produce NOC at the time of interview.
• Management reserves the rights to relax minimum qualification & experience in case of deserving candidates.
• Eligible candidates for the post of Manager and Asst Manager will be called for interview.
• Eligible candidates for the post of Engineers and Engineer Trainees will be required to undertake Written Test at Bangalore and the candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for interview. Communications regarding Written Test / Interview will be strictly online. The tentative dates for written test and interview is as under :
Starting of receipt of online application : 27th February 2008
Last date of receipt of application : 14th March 2008
Download admit card for Written test : 20th March 2008
Tentative Date of Written Examination : 30th March 2008
Declaration of Written Test Results : 31st March 2008
Tentative date of interview : 1st April 2008 onwards
• Interviews for all the posts will be held at Bangalore
• Before filling up the online application candidates are required to have a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (not applicable for SC/ST) drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Bangalore in favour of “BEML Limited”. The Demand Draft accompanied with Registration Slip should be sent to
