• For Purchase & Stores Officer : MBA in Marketing or Materials Management + 1 year experience in supervisory capacity in the relevant field OR Graduate + Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management [or any other subject relating to Purchase & Stores activity] with 3 years experience [1 year in supervisory capacity in the relevant field].

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), an educational and research Institute with focus on Space Science and Technology invites applications for the following post to take care of the total computer facilities including Network and Internet (wired/ wireless) related matters. IIST is in the process of setting up a large computer facility in the new campus at Valiamala. The Institute will have sophisticated computer and storage clusters as well as a large network connecting to its Departments and Hostels:

Scientist /Engineer ‘SE’ (Computer System Administrator-cum-Manager)
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) Grade Pay : Rs.7600/- Basic Pay : Rs.29500/-
Gross Emoluments including DA & HRA : Rs.43365/-
Qualification :
BE/ B.Tech in Electronics/ECE /CSE and M.Tech in CSE
6 years experience as a System/Network Administrator in a large computer facility.
Desirable: CCNA & Microsoft Certification
Upper Age Limit : 45 years as on 01.10.2009

If none of the candidates are found suitable for the post of Scientist/ Engineer ‘SE’, they may be considered for the lower post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’.
