* Qualifications : M.Sc/M.S/M.E/M.Tech degrees in Mathematics(pure/applied/industrial) or Computational Science or Aerospace Engg. or Mechanical Engg, B.E./B.Tech in Computational Science or Aerospace Engg. or Mechanical Engg.
Desirable : GATE/NET qualified. Excellent programming skills in C/C++. Experience in finite element methods and/or parallel programming MPI/Open MP is an advantage.
* Pay Scale : Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 16,000/-

Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC) , Chennai, is a premier National Laboratory under the CSIR. The Centre invites applications from highly qualified and motivated candidates for taking up R&D activities and also for providing engineering services to solve the problems of the industry and the society besides participating in the development of laboratory facilities.

* Scientist Gr IV (2) : 12 posts (OBC-2, UR-9,ST-1), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600, Age : 35 years (5 year relaxation to SC/ST and 3 years to OBC candidates)
