What is Central Bank of India
Established in 1911, Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank which was wholly owned and managed by Indians, with Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala as the founder. It was nationalized in July 1969 along with 13 other banks.

CBI PO Salary:
Central Bank of India (CBI) is offering following pay-scale for the PO positions:

With above pay-scale, the salary would be Rs. 18,126/- per month approx in metros.

Eligibilities for these CBI positions:
For Probationary Officers:
Age Eligibility: Min: 21 Max: 30 as on 01.04.2010.
Academic Eligibility/Qualifications:
Graduation with min. 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized university + Basic knowledge of computer applications (certificate required from a Govt. recognized training institute).

Download this fee payment receipt and pay the fee in cash in any of the Core Banking Branch of Central Bank of India. You need to retain the original fee payment receipt, as you have to produce the same along with your call letter while appearing for the PO written exam.

Duplicate CBI call letter would be issued from 19th July, 2010 to 24th July.
