Deloitte's National Partnership Solutions group is a service line focused on providing technology enabled tax solutions to organizations surrounding Sub chapter K of the Internal Revenue Code. The Partnership Solutions serves some of the largest and high profile clients of the firm. Its innovation and technology continues to facilitate some of the highest year over year growth in the Company. The Partnership Solutions group leverages heavily off of technology based solutions to support their business. Demand for such services is high, therefore, additional programming resources are needed to maintain the existing client & technology base as well as facilitate the development needed to meet expected future growth.

Job Description:

This candidate will have primary responsibility of managing Partnership Solution's technology development activities in Hyderabad India office. The candidate will interact with U.S. counterparts to receive business requirements and will coordinate the design, development, and testing of new applications. The candidate will also support the existing Partnership Solutions suite of applications. The candidate will be a liaison between India and US group and a key personnel to keep the India team members motivated. He/she will be responsible to work on and execute multiple US client projects.



We are penetrating in this market rapidly and our business is growing. Eventually we would like to expand the team in India to do most of our work from Hyderabad office. Following are the responsibilities :



o Interacts with the Subject Matter Experts ( SMEs ) and business users to receive requirements on various US based client projects.

o Delegates, as appropriate, to employee and Senior Programmer Analysts and/or Programmers and monitors performance of the team.

o Works with Business users to determine and translate business requirements into technology solutions.

o Provides/reviews estimates for design, build, test and implementation phases, ensuring quality and accuracy is maintained.

Performs software design, development and documentation

o Guarantees quality of software development and testing

o Manages a team of programmers in India.

o Responsible for the learning and growth of the programmers.

o Candidates should have 7-10 years of technical experience with application development and .Net programming, and 2-3 years of project management or team lead experience. Excellent SQL programming skills are requried.

o A bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business/Technology or similar degree is required from one of India's top tier technology institutions like the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT - Kharagpur, Delhi, Kanpur, Roorkee, etc).

o Candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of both the (SQL database) back-end as well as the front-end of application development.

o The candidate will report to a US manager and must have excellent verbal communication skills. The candidate will operate exclusively in India with an opportunity to rotate to US for short-term training/client project work as the economy and opportunities permit.

Candidates will have 7-10 years of technical experience with application development and .Net programming, and 2-3 years of project management or team lead experience. Excellent SQL programming skills are required.
