1. One JRF and One Laboratory Attendant/Laboratory Assistant in DBT project on “Bioprospecting novel genes from the metagenome of coal-beds for the biotransformation of lignite coal into high efficiency fuels”
2. One JRF in DST project on “Genomic and proteomic analysis of the role of group III sigma factors in abiotic stress adaptation in the heterocystous cyanobacterium Anabaena PCC 7120”
Qualification :
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - Rs.12,000- p.m. fixed and HRA as per rules. Candidates must have good academic career with M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Microbiology (general/applied)/ Biochemistry. Candidates must have qualified NET/GATE. Age limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and female candidates).

Laboratory Attendant/Laboratory Assistant- Rs.6,000- p.m. fixed. Candidates should be B.Sc. or Intermediate with 3 years experience of working in a Microbiology/Molecular biology/Biotechnology laboratory. Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of female/SC/ST and PC candidates.
