o Age : Should have been born between 31.01.1991 to 30.01.1995 (Both dates inclusive).
o Qualification : Qualified in 10+2/ equivalent examination with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/Biology/Computer science

The Indian Navy SSR 01/2011 Batch Entry Recruitment

THE INDIAN NAVY

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 1/2011 Batch. Course Commencing 31 January 2011.

* Age : Candidates to be born between 31/01/1990 and 30/01/1994; both dates inclusive

* Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Maths, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.

Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22x10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the different Post Box addresses in New Delhi depending on the examination centre. The list of such centres is available in the detailed advertisement.

Last Date : Last date of receiving the application is 16/07/2010. For far-flung areas the last date is 23/07/2010.
