Job Details:-

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary positions of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Technical Assistant (TA) in the DBT research project entitled “Comparitive Metabolite of Transgenic and Non-Transgenic Potato Expressing AmA1 Protein” under the supervision of Dr. Subhra Chakaraborty, Scientist, NIPGR.

Eligibility Criteria:

(A) Senior Research Fellow (One Post): Emoluments as per project sanction & DBT norms.

Candidates having M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in Biochemistry /Botany /Biotechnology /Life Sciences / Bioinformatics or any other related field with at least two years of Post M. Sc. research experience.

(B) Technical Assistant (One Post): Emoluments as per project sanction & DBT norms.

Candidates having Fresh M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry /Botany /Biotechnology /Life Sciences / Bioinformatics or B.SC. with at least two years of experience in the related field.

The above positions are purely temporary and are co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be curtailed/ extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR may select candidate against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee. Reservation of post shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
