TIFAC-Centre Of Relevance and Excellence (CORE) in Fiber Optics and Optical Communication

Applications are invited for following purely temporary positions for a year (likely to continue for one more year) to manage the activities of the above mentioned advanced center

1. Senior Technical Officer
o Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation with 4 years or M.E./M.Tech. with 2 years experience in Optical Fiber Communication or Ph.D. in Optical Fiber/Microwave Communication
o Consolidated Pay : Rs. 20, 000/-

2. Senior Scientific Officer : 01 Post
o Qualification : M.Sc. Physics/Electronics with 4 years experience or PhD in Applied Physics related to Photonics/Photonic Crystal based Devices
o Consolidated Pay : Rs. 20, 000/-

3. Senior Technical Assistant : 02 Posts
o Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in ECE or M.Sc. Physics/Electronics with 2 yrs experience in R & D Lab/in the area of telecommunication
o Consolidated Pay : Rs. 15,000/-

4. Lab Assistant : 01 Post
Qualification :Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or B.Sc. with relevant experience
o Consolidated Pay : Rs. 15,000/-

5. Project Fellow (Under UGC sponsored project) : 01 Post
o Qualification :M.Sc. Physics/Electronics
o Consolidated Pay : Rs. 15,000/-
