Applications are invited for filling the following posts in Central Silk Board

1. Scientist - B : 55 Posts
o Age : Below 40 years
o Qualification : High II Class Masters degree with atleast 55% marks in Zoology/ Botany/ Entomology/ Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Chemistry/ Sericulture from a recognised University with 5 years . Research experience as evidenced by Research Publications in reputed journals.
o Pay Scale : PB-3, Pay Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

2. Scientist - B (Reeling & Spinning) : 05 Posts
o Age : Below 40 years
o Qualification : High II Class Masters degree with atleast 55% marks in Textile Technology/ Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering from a recognised University with 5 years Research experience.
o Pay Scale : PB-3 Pay Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

3. Computer Programmer : 03 Posts
o Age : Below 30 years
o Qualification : Graduate with II class in Computer Science with 2 years experience in Electronic Data Processing (EDP) OR Graduate with II class, in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics and Post Graduate Diploma Course in Computer Applications and 2 years experience in EDP OR M.Sc. in Computer Science
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

4. Senior Mechanic : 02 Posts
o Age : Below 30 years
o Qualification : Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

5. Assistant (Technical) : 04 Posts
o Age : Below 30 years
o Qualification : IInd Class Bachelors degree with at least 50% marks in Entomology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

6. Junior Translator (Hindi) : 03 Posts
o Age : Below 30 yrs
o Qualification : IInd Class Masters Degree in Hindi from a recognized University with Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

7. Technical Assistant (Reeling & Spinning) : 02 Posts
o Age : Below 27 yrs
o Qualification : 3 year Diploma Course in Textile Technology / Handloom Technology from a recognized Institute.
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

8. Assistant : 03 Posts
o Age : Below 30 years
o Qualification : IInd Class Bachelors degree in Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Bachelor of Law from a recognized University
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

9. Stenographer : 02 Posts
o Age : Below 25 years
o Qualification : Bachelors degree from a recognized University with a pass in Senior Grade English Typewriting and Shorthand examinations conducted by the State Technical Education Board with a speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting and 120 words per minute in Shorthand.
o Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

10. Junior Stenographer : 03 Posts
o Age : Below 25 years
o Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in English Typewriting and Shorthand examinations conducted by the State Technical Education Board with a speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting and 80 words per minute in Shorthand
o Pay Scale : PB-1, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-

11. Artist : 01 Post
o Age : Below 30 years
o Qualification : Bachelors degree of a recognized University with Diploma in Commercial Arts from a recognized Institute.
o Pay Scale : PB-1, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
