Applications are invited following posts :

+ Deputy Collector (Tamil Nadu Civil Service) , Post : 13 posts
Essential Qualification :
A Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

+ Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category – I) (Tamil Nadu Police Service) , Post : 08 posts
Essential Qualification : Degree or Diploma in Criminology and Forensic Science and also to those who possess National Award for Physical efficiency.

+ Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies (Tamil Nadu Co-operative Service) , Post : 23 posts
Essential Qualification : First Preference – M.A. (Co-operation) Degree Second Preference – M.Com. Degree with Co-operation as a subject Third Preference – B.A. (Co-operation) Degree.

+ Assistant Director of Rural Development Department
(Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Service) , Post : 17 posts
Essential Qualification :
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Rural Service of the Gandhi Gram Rural Institute, Madurai District -
(ii) P.G. Degree or Diploma in Extension.
(iii) P.G Degree or Diploma in Sociology.
SCALE OF PAY (for all posts) :- Revised Pay (PB3) -Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (Pre-revised Pay : 8000-275-13500/-)


Fees :
(i) For Preliminary Examination Rs. 75/- (Rupees Seventy five only).
(ii) For Main Written Examination Rs. 125/- (Rupees One hundred and twenty five only). The fee for Preliminary Examination should be paid only through any one of the Post Offices on receipt of intimation from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, unless exemption of fee is claimed.

Filled in applications must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002 well in advance, so as to reach the Commission’s Office before 5.45 p.m. on 29-01-2010.
