Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament, invites applications for filling up of a few posts on deputation on foreign Service terms from employees of Central/ State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions etc. The details of such posts like scale of pay, required qualifications/qualifying service and experience etc. of such posts are given below

1. Deputy Chief (Legal)
o No of Posts : 02
o Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
o
Qualification :Degree in Law preferably with specialization in regulation

2. Assistant Chief (Engg)
o No of Posts : 03
o Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100 Grade Pay Rs. 6,600
o
Qualification : Degree in Engineering Graduate Degree in Engineering with a relaxation to Diploma in Engineering for members of the Central Power Engineering (Group ‘A') Services promoted from feeder services

3. Principal Private Secretary
o No of Posts : 01
o Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100 Grade Pay Rs. 6,600
o
Qualification :Must be Computer-literate. Proficient in using MS Office

4. Private Secretary
o No of Posts : 03
o Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
o
Qualification :Must be Computer-literate. Proficient in using MS Office
