IISCO STEEL PLANT is looking for competent experienced personnel for recruitment to the following posts for its Burnpur Unit, West Bengal having experience in Operation or maintenance of Cranes / Locos / Instrumentation / Process Control / Power Distribution / Electronic Panel etc. in Steel Industry
A) No. of vacancies and reservation

Operator Cum-Technician (OCT) , Posts : 100 ( GEN-51, SC-15, ST- 7,OBC-27)
Pay Scale : Rs. 4170-3%-6095/- (S-3)
Qualification :
Candidates should be Diploma in Engineering (Mettallurgy,Chemical,Ceramics,Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation etc) with minimum 5 years of experience in Operation of
Steel Plant or maintenance of Cranes/Locos/Instrumentation/ Process Control/ Power Distribution /Electronic Panel /experience of working in steel industry.
Maximum Age as on 01-09-2009 is 35 years

Attendant-cum-Technician (ACT): 100 posts ( GEN-51, SC-15, ST- 7,OBC-27) ,
Pay Scale : Rs.4000-3%-5600/- (S-1)
Qualification :
Candidates should be Matriculate –OR- equivalent with ITI in Trades like Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic etc. with minimum 2 years of experience in Operation of Steel Plant or maintenance of Cranes/Locos/Instrumentation/ Process Control/Power Distribution/Electronic Panel / experience of working in steel industry. Maximum Age as on 01-09-2009 is 30 years.
