Special Recruitment Drive for Backlog vacancies of SC, ST, OBC and PWD.

CMERI is looking for dynamic and creative people to do research in the above broad areas of activities under different categories. Candidates fulfilling the educational qualification, age etc. may apply in the prescribed proforma to the Administrative Officer.

I. Category : SCIENTIST in Group IV (1) – (2 Posts)
Pay in Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400 (Gross Emoluments at the minimum of the pay stationed at Durgapur will be Rs. 30,416 /- p.m. approximately.) (Age limit : 35 years.)

POST CODE B/01: [ST](Backlog) (PWD Reservation Roster Pt. No. 80)
Essential Qualification: First class BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Desirable: Consistently good academic record, M.E./ M.Tech. in appropriate disciplines with mechanical engineering background at graduate level and knowledge in use of computer assisted tools in different areas of mechanical engineering, programming language.
Job Requirement : The candidates will have to work in a team for R&D projects of the Institute in one of the areas of Robotics, Advanced Mechanical Design, Analysis and Metal forming technologies. They will also be expected to initiate new R&D projects in the thrust areas of the Institute.

POST CODE B/02: [OBC] (Backlog) (PWD Reservation Roster Pt. No.83)
Essential Qualification: First class BE/ BTech in Computer Science & engineering.
Desirable: Consistently good academic record, M.E./ M.Tech. in appropriate disciplines with computer science and engineering background at graduate level, knowledge in programming languages, such as VC++, C++, windows socket programming, serial port programming, real-time software development in Windows and UNIX shell etc.
Job Requirement: The candidates will have to work in teams in R&D activities of the Institute for the development of Robotic and Mechatronics system. They will also be expected to initiate new R&D projects in appropriate fields.

II. Category : Technical Staff in Gr. III(1) – (2 Posts)
Pay in Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 (Gross Emoluments at the minimum of the pay stationed at Durgapur will be Rs. 19,288 /- p.m. approximately.) (Age limit : 28 years )

POST CODE D/01 : [OBC-] (Backlog) (PWD Reservation Roster Pt. No. 99)
Essential qualification: First class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of 3 years full time duration or equivalent.
Desirable: Knowledge in computer usage, DBMS, Intellectual Property Rights etc., experience in R&D/ academic Institutions, industries in planning, technology marketing.
Job Requirements: He has to assist in day to day management of the related groups.

POST CODE D/02 : (1 POST) [UR-PWD-VH(Low vision)] (PWD Reservation Roster Pt. No. 01 (Cycle II)]
Essential qualification: First class Diploma in Electronics Engineering of 3 years full time duration or equivalent.
Desirable: Working experience in operation and maintenance of electrical systems, electronic controllers, sensors, instrumentation, PCB etc. with knowledge in computer applications.
Job Requirements: He has to work in teams for design, fabrication and testing of electrical/ electronic control systems

III. Category : Jr. Stenographer in Group- C (Non-Tech.)
(POST CODE E/01) – (1 Post) [Reserved for SC-PWD (VH-Blind (Back log)]*
(PWD Reservation Roster Pt. No. 87, Cycle I)
Candidates belonging to SC-PWD(OH) may also apply for the above post, however, they will be considered only if SC-PWD(VH-Blind) are not found suitable.
Pay in Pay Band PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400 (Gross Emoluments at the minimum of the pay stationed at Durgapur will be Rs. 14,307/- p.m. approximately.) (Age 43 years including the relaxation of 15 years. No age restriction for Departmental candidates.)
Essential Qualification : 10+2/XII or equivalent and speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting in English and on the basis of Competitive Proficiency Test.
Desirable: Proficiency in shorthand & typewriting in Hindi.
Job Requirement : General Stenographic work.
