Qualification Condition for MT & GET
Except in the case of C.A/ICWA, the candidate for the post of MT/GET should be First Class (minimum 60%) marks in the relevant discipline and pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates, with two years full time regular course from re-cognised university/institution approved by U.G.C/A.I.C.T.E
Selection, Training and Placement of MT & GET:
The selection methodology will comprise: written test (objective type consisting of two parts, general aptitude and subject knowledge). The successful candidate shall be called for group discussion/interview. The candidate selected as M.T & GET shall undergo a comprehensive medical examination by the Company Medical Officers or in HIL approved Hospitals for which the entire expenses shall be borne by the candidate, before placing in a training of one year. After successful completion of training period, the candidate shall be considered for placement as “Assistant Officer” or “Assistant Engineer” in the regular pay scale of Rs.8600-250-14600. After absorption in the regular scale, the Candidate shall be liable to serve the company for a period of 2 years under Bond. The period of training can be extended at the sole discretion of the management.
Centre for written test:-
The Company propose to conduct the written test for MTs & GETs at its Units located at 1) R&D Centre, Gurgaon. 2) Bathinda Unit (Punjab). 3) Alwaye Unit near Kochi (Kerala). 4) Rasayani Unit near Panvel (MH). Candidates are advised to give their choice for the centre in order of their preference. If they fail to opt for centre, the same shall be decided at the discretion of the Management
General Conditions:
Reservation of Posts for OBC, SC/ST & PWD shall be as per Govt. of India Rules. Age
relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and Ex-serviceman, dependents of those killed in action and 3 years for OBC. Age is also relax-able by 5 yrs in the case of persons working in Central Government/Semi Government/Public Sector Undertaking, who are required to submit their application through proper channel and should have minimum two years working experience one step below grade of the respective positions.
All Candidates called for Interview/Test for the Post at Sr. No. 1 shall be reimbursed 3 tier A/C Rail fare or equivalent for to and fro journey by shortest route provided the distance travelled is not less than 50 km. SC/ST/PWD Candidates for post at 2–3 shall be paid to and fro 2nd class fare for attending interview. No TA will be payable for attending the written Test.
Those candidates who have already submitted their application to the above vacancies in response to our advertisement appeared in the Employment News dated 01.09.2007 need not to apply as their candidature will be considered on the basis of their applications already submitted. However, the preference for Centre for written test needs to be intimated by these candidates.
