Eligibility : Scholars with 1st Class BE/ B.Tech. in Engineering or 1st Class Post Graduation in Science/ Psychology/ Mathematics, who have successfully defended their PhD thesis between 01 Jan 2008 to 30 June 2009.
* Subject/ Disciplines : Engineering/ Life Sciences/ Basic Sciences/ Psychology/ Mathematics with area of research having direct interest/ relevance to DRDO.
* Age : Not exceeding 35 years.
* Post (Scale of Pay) : Scientist 'C', in the Pay Bcale PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600 plus amount equivalent to two increments and allowances & facilities as applicable to Central Govt. employee.

Closing Date : 04/05/09 for applicants who have successfully defended their thesis between 01 Jan 08 - 31 Dec 08 and last date is 30/09/09 for applicants who have successfully defended their thesis (i) Between 01 Jan 09 - 30 June 09

Direct Recruitment to the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service- 2009 (UPHJS)

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to 68 vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service (UP HJS), in the pay scale of Rs.16750-400-20500. The recruitment will be based on a written examination for preliminary exam which will be held on 28/06/2009 followed by an main exam.

Eligibility of candidate :

1. The applicant must be an Advocate of not less than 7 years standing on 1.1.2010.
2. The applicant must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years on the 1st day of January 2010. Relaxation as per rules.
