Total Posts for Clerk / Clerical Cadre: 575
Pay Scale: Rs. 7463/- (including DA + HRA), Age Limit: Not below 18 years and not above 28 years as on 01.08.2009.

Educational Qualification (as on the Date of Application): Degree in any discipline or its equivalent OR 55% or more marks in aggregate in the 10+2 examination of the 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent.
Relaxation for SC / ST / XS / VH / HI / OH Candidates: Degree in any discipline or its equivalent OR 45% or more marks in aggregate in the 10+2 examination of the 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent.

Selection Procedure:
a) All eligible candidates will be called for a written examination which will be Objective in nature. The objective test consists of (i) Reasoning Ability and Numerical Aptitude (ii) Clerical Aptitude (iii) English Language, b) Candidates have to pass in each of the Objective and there will be negative marks for wrong answers in theObjective Tests, c) Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the objective test will be called for interview. Mere eligibility / pass in the test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview, d) Final selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded after adding the marks obtained in the Objective Testsand Interview, e) The detailed information regarding the Written Examination will be given in the "Acquaint Yourself" booklet which will be sent to the candidates along with the call letter for the Written Examination.

Application fee (non-refundable): For SC / ST / VH / HI / OH / Ex-Servicemen - Rs. 50/-(towards postal charges only) For All Others (including OBCs) -Rs.200/-


Date of Written Examination: The Written Examination is tentatively fixed for SUNDAY, the 29th of November, 2009 at the centres indicated below: (The Bank reserves the right to alter this date under unforeseen circumstances, if any).

An eligible candidate who does not receive the call letter by 22.11.2009 may contact the Bank at the following address between 23.11.2009 and 28.11.2009 indicating his / her name, address, date of birth, details of remittance and examination centre opted, to enable the Bank to take immediate remedial action.
