IIT Bhubaneswar invites applications from the Indian nationals for filling up of the following post on direct recruitment / transfer on deputation including permanent absorption and / or contract basis:

01. Post: Junior Technician: 3 Posts (UR)

Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200/- (PB-1) + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and allowances as admissible

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in the field of Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR Senior/Higher Secondary Pass with ITI pass in first division and 5 years relevant experience in Industry or an Educational Institute of repute OR Bachelors Degree (10+2+3 years) in Science in Chemistry /Physics and Mathematics OR equivalent. Wiremen License/Permit issued by Chief Electrical Inspector/competent authority of respective State is essential for candidates with electrical specialization.

Desirable:
Experience and knowledge in computer application, electronic instruments, repairing & maintenance and handling of sophisticated instruments.

02. Post: Junior Assistant: 3 Posts (UR)

Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200/- (PB-1) + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- and allowances as admissible

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3 pattern), computer key depression speed equivalent to 60 WPM, proficiency in Office applications like Words, Excel, Power Points etc. Exposure to office procedure like maintenance of files, noting, drafting, diary, dispatch etc. are essential.

Age Limit : 30 Years as on 1-07-2009.

Application Fee:
The demand draft of Rs.200/- drawn on Schedule Bank in favor of "IIT BHUBANESWAR" payable at Bhubaneswar. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempt from payment of any application fee. The candidates should write their name and post applied for on the backside of the demand draft.
