Direct Recruitment to the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service- 2009 (UPHJS)

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to 68 vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service (UP HJS), in the pay scale of Rs.16750-400-20500. The recruitment will be based on a written examination for preliminary exam which will be held on 28/06/2009 followed by an main exam.

Eligibility of candidate :

1. The applicant must be an Advocate of not less than 7 years standing on 1.1.2010.
2. The applicant must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years on the 1st day of January 2010. Relaxation as per rules.

Application Fee : Rs.750/- (Rs.500/- for SC & ST only). Those candidates who have down loaded the form from the web site shall also pay additional fee of Rs.100/- for the application form.

How to Apply : The Application form will have to be forwarded by the District & Sessions Judge of the district within whose territorial jurisdiction the candidate has been practising or the Registrar General, High Court Allahabad in case of candidate practising in Allahabad High Court or Registrar, Lucknow Bench, Lucknow for those practising in Lucknow Bench or Registrar General/Registrar of the other High Court, in case of candidates practising out side Uttar Pradesh.
