a) Engineering Executive Trainees (EET):

Age Limit: -

The upper age limit for candidate with graduate degree in the related advertised discipline is 27 years as on 01.01.2008 i.e candidate born before 01.01.1981 need not apply.

Age limit will be 29 years for candidate with two years full time postgraduate degree in Engineering for engineering disciplines and MBA for ET (HR) or ET (Finance.

Eligible candidate should have to apply through online registration system of NTPC only. To apply visit: www.ntpcjobs.net with your valid E-mail ID. General and OBC category candidates are also required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500/-. Candidates can either pay registration fee online while applying for the post through credit/ debit card or alternatively through DD. No other mode of payment would be accepted. Qualification:

Management Trainees (Technical): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ and M.Tech in Applied Geology from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of all year/semesters (55% for SC/ST candidates).

Management Trainees (Corporate Services): Candidates should have Two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management / Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from a recognised Indian University / Institute with minimum 65% marks in aggregate of all years/ semesters (55% in aggregate for SC / ST candidates) apart from full time Bachelor's Degree from a recognised Indian University.

Age: Upper age limit as on 31.03.2008 for General Category candidates is as follows:

Management Trainee (Technical): 26 years for Engineering Graduates.

M.Tech in Applied Geology: 28 years.

Candidates who appeared and passed engineering graduation/ Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management and Industrial Relations exam in 2007 or appearing in 2008 for their final examination are ONLY eligible to apply. Remuneration: The selected candidates will be appointed as Management Trainees in the grade of E1 with scale of pay of Rs. 10750-300-16750/- and other allowances and benefits applicable to this grade. The compensation package on Cost to Company (CTC) basis would be around 4 lakh per annum. Pay Scale revision is due from 01.01.07.
